Ray Barlow: IT Director
Introduction:
With over two decades of professional service in various roles from C++ and Java programming to project management, I’ve been fortunate enough to work in a wide range of areas from simple desktop applications and multi user websites at one end of the spectrum to full life cycle ecommerce websites and ERP systems at the other.
Experienced in running an office environment covering all aspects of IT infrastructure, services and security. Installation setup and maintenance of internet connections, internal networks, WiFi, site to site VPNs, perimeter firewalls, intrusion detection/protection systems, active directory user management, server deployments, virtual environments, PCI card security.
Experienced with Cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, GCP and Alibaba using tools for DevOps automation with the likes of Terraform and Ansible. Certified AWS SysOps Administrator Associate.
Mission:
The end goal of any effort for me is to make technology work for people.
